Munnday Morning Notes

This week the Dragons enter district play versus the 3-0 Keller Central Chargers. The Chargers, coached by Eric Vance, come into the game with a lot of momentum on both sides of the ball.

Offensively the Dragons face an experienced secondary, led by cornerback Jeremiah Taylor, and will be tested on the outside by several other key players. Central's defense is multiple and aggressive, which means they will play man coverage in the backend. In order for our offense to be successful this week we will have to win our one on one match-ups on the outside and take advantage of our run game.

Defensively, the Dragon defense will also face an experienced offense, led by quarterback Isaiah Taylor. Isaiah is the twin brother of Jeremiah, and leads the Central offense both on the ground and through the air. Offensively, Central has several weapons to help Isaiah, including RB Spencer Martin, and brother Jeremiah.

In order for the Dragons to be successful this week, they have to play disciplined football and take away the power run game that Central has. The Dragons look forward to going on the road this week and competing against a district opponent.
